Bishop Thevenot, Green Lake and the Sacred Heart Medal

On March 21st Bishop Albert came to Green Lake to pray with our faith community and he bestowed the Sacred Heart Medal on Catherine Gardiner. The medal acknowledges the faith commitment that Catherine has exhibited throughout her life - to the parish community and to the local community. While many have given much of themselves, Catherine's exemplary work stands out and has been acknowledged by the Bishop. Here are some photos from the event which was celebrated in the community hall - we were able to accommodate more people in the Hall and we avoided the ice and mud that was at the front of the Church!
